The MSIT Seagull Solar Car Team visited the hallowed halls of MIT on Saturday to acquire Gemini, the retired MOV Solar Car from the 2024 American Solar Car Race. Our students received a tour of the MIT motorsports facilities and had lunch with some of the most prestigious engineering professors in the world. They were all involved in the planning and logistics of picking up this Solar Car from Massachusetts. Let everybody in your circle know that Mckee high school has the only solar powered race team in New York state!
On October 16, 2025 , CTE Students met with 7th and 8th grade students from IS 2 to speak with them about the 7 CTE programs Ralph R. McKee has to offer. McKee CTE students presented different projects and equipment and answered questions about their CTE Programs.
